Homecoming Assembly: The Bar None Nonsense

On Friday, the final day of homecoming week, which featured imaginary travels across the United States, Rock Bridge school spirit settled at home.

At the annual homecoming assembly, fall sports each sent up a representative to compete in the fall sports competition. The result was a hilarious tie ending with football and volleyball representatives desperately attempting to get Oreos off their faces.
Later , RBHS students were treated to a live performance of “Green and Gold” by Landon Fitzpatrick and Anthony Mullen. The two students rapped, reminding students of the Bruins’ victory in the Providence Bowl.
That afternoon, students were dismissed 30 minutes early for the annual homecoming parade. The weather was ideal for a walk downtown – clear skies with a slight breeze.
Led by the queen candidates, the parade featured more than half a dozen floats. Student Council, in particular, created a float with artwork depicting scenes from across the United States in order to fit the “Coast to Coast” theme.
