X Tour will bring euphoric feeling
Towards the end of summer 2011, the band Excision abruptly made a loud opening into the BlueNote. They are back once again, but this time for an even louder entrance as part of the X Tour on April 12 for the great price of $25 for those 18 and older. The concert will include Excision, Liquid Stranger and Lucky Date. This show will be unstoppable, and expectedly out of control; the light show matching the drops with a frenzy scene.
Last year, the show went beyond expectations. No soul in sight wasn’t moving or shaking their hair with their eyes closed, most likely off in some ludicrous other land. As expected at raves, the participants dressed in neon, glitter and glow in the dark colors. Groups coordinated costumes, such as ‘cowboys and Indians,’ and ‘ballerinas.” Others wore hardly anything at all.
Dubstep is a genre that virtually came from nowhere and seems misunderstood to some. If you don’t understand the dance music or how some could listen to such noise, going to this show will explain every unanswered question you have all while having the time of your life. The X Tour isn’t just dubstep and a light show. It is a party that some only imagine.
For many people, it is understood that an enjoyable show is one where familiarity of the songs performed is customary and the crowd can harmoniously sing along in happiness with one of their favorite bands/ singer/ performers right in front of them. These usual rules don’t apply to this tour. In fact, most rules don’t apply to this tour at all. A new remix comes on and the crowd will continue to dance, continue to move and, most of all, continue to have a crazy time.
The environment will shock and the bass of the beat inside of your chest will feel unfamiliar in a abundant way. Virgin ears will never be the same due to insanity of the crowd.
If you don’t like crowds, want to leave a show without poppy in your ears and don’t expect your body to be tired the next day, the X Tour will not be for you. Don’t go; you will hate it.
However, for those of you that want to experience something invigorating, this is right up your ally.
