Dodgeball tourney raises money for Intersection

On the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 10, teams of RBHS students and Intersection members gathered for an intense dodgeball tournament. Each team paid 50 dollars to play, and with a total of six teams, the tournament raised $300 for the Intersection, an “after-school and community program that RBRO volunteers at Monday-Friday from 5:00-6:30 p.m.,” junior RBRO co-President Kelsey Harper said. Whether color-coordinated, face-painted or adorned simply in sheer dodgeball talent, the teams played fierce games and all for a good cause.

Unable to make eye contact with most people, big crowds intimidate this soft-spoken being, and it may take a while before she opens up to you. But you will find that, when she does, the wait was well worth it because no words can describe the deep caring and selflessness that Urmila treats everyone she encounters with.
