Half the battle is getting there

We just got back from our fall journalism convention in San Antonio, Texas and I took some photos of the bus ride down. Yes, we took a bus; we didn’t fly. The ride was somewhere between 14 and 16 hours on the road (zero in the air and zero on water, in case you were wondering) depending on who you ask. At least we were able to get a pretty nice charter bus.

Nevertheless, relaxation and comfort were not words often muttered on the trip. Here are just a few photos of inside the bus and a stop or two along the way.
