She’s a good egg

I am a morning person, I know -- shocking a teenager who likes the mornings!? But, I really am. I like the quiet, the peace and the excitement to get things done. So, occasionally I wake up and get egg-cited to make breakfast.

Cool bottle. Cool spice. Cool dish. Just getting started on my mini breakfast quiches. Mmmm.

The mix is easy, it's the dough holders that are complex. And though sleep was in the corners of my eyes still, and I still wore pj-pants, I tried it out.

After a few failed attempts of straight circles, I realized what four years of math had not taught me -- glasses, cups and dough containers are not from round materials. Erg.

Setting it up on ramicans was my mama's idea, and it's a pretty good one! Good thing one person had their morning-brain on.

Taking the dough off after a few minutes of baking onto the ramicans was the hardest part. Easily breakable, a tad bit hot and so delicious smelling you just wanted to pop them in your mouth.

Flip em over, spray the sheet again with oil and add the quiche mix!

Here's the breakfast mix, make it your own though. Add your favorite breakfast foods, anything you'd put into an omelet, throw it in.

Pour carefully, the trays get a little icky. Also, this is when you get to see how good you were earlier in your cup making, because if there are cracks, the mix won't stay in!

Finished! Just in time for the rest of the family waking up to a delicious smelling kitchen! Good morning!
