The bruins faced Lebanon earlier this year in Lebanon and were able to pull out a one run win on a suicide squeeze bunt in the bottom of the last inning by Junior Kyle Teter.

“They are a good scrappy team that always find a way to pull out wins,” junior second baseman C.J. Ardini said.

The Bruins will have to face the Yellow Jacket’s ace Brad Archer. Archer is 7-9 on the year.

With a win the Bruins will advance to the state quarterfinals and face the winner of Branson and Willard who play at noon on Tuesday, as well.

“If everyone stays focused and takes care of their job,” Ardini said. “We should be able to advance.”

The game will start at five on Tuesday and be broadcast on Bearingnews.org. Tickets will be available for $6 at the gate.
