[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n honor of Black History Month, RBHS students were asked a hard hitting question that forced them to think, Do they think racial harmony exists in the United States? With dramatic social happenings like President Donald Trumps recent executive order banning immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries and publicized shootings of black Americans, it seems like the American political climate is getting more and more polarized.

“No, because a lot of people have opinions already made and they are not open minded. Their minds are influenced by the media that says ‘Oh black people are bad,’ like a crime will happen and people will be like automatically saying it must have been a black guy.”
