Student View: Do you think racial harmony exists in the US?

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n honor of Black History Month, RBHS students were asked a hard hitting question that forced them to think, Do they think racial harmony exists in the United States? With dramatic social happenings like President Donald Trumps recent executive order banning immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries and publicized shootings of black Americans, it seems like the American political climate is getting more and more polarized.

Do you think racial harmony exists in the US?

“No I guess because all that’s happened with police officers and our new president. It doesn’t seem like it.”

Chloe Peterson, Sophomore
