Due to CPS rules, sports teams cannot force religious expression. The RBHS softball team's coaches was informed by the CPS Human Resources department that they are not allowed to participate in the pre-game praying.

Bruins lose to Smith Cotton in district championship game

Under the bright lights at Hickman High School (HHS) on Wednesday, Oct. 25, the RBHS boys’ soccer (9-11-1) season ended with a 3-1 loss to Smith Cotton High School. The loss, however, works as motivation for both coaches and athletes for next year's season.

On Monday night, Oct 23., the boys’ soccer team beat the Jefferson City High School Jays (JCHS) in the first round of the district tournament at Hickman High School (HHS) with a close score of 1-0.
