Oscar Insight: Predictions for 2013’s Academy Awards

Lauren Puckett February 20, 2013
It's that time of year again - Oscar season. This Sunday, Feb. 24, the acclaimed academy will decide which of this year's films truly take the cake. We'll see celebrities dressed in their best, parading across the red carpet. We'll hear numerous thank-you speeches, accompanied by the occasional shed tear. We'll see directors and cinematographers holding their little golden men, beaming with pride. But, most of all, we'll get to see what is truly great in the film industry, and we'll get to honor it with the year's most prestigious television event. Several Bearing News staff members have pulled their heads together, and compiled this list of predictions for 2013's Oscar winners. We're by no means experts, but we hope readers will appreciate and enjoy our analysis of this year's cinematic experiences.
