WIN For Columbia recognizes women in sports

The Women’s Intersport Network (WIN) for Columbia Awards held its 23rd annual luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in recognition of the “outstanding female athletes of our community in conjunction with National Girls and Women in Sports Week,” as stated in a pamphlet from the event.

The Bruins had a powerful start and settled comfortably into a 43-29 lead against Northeast Kansas City High School, ultimately securing a 93-59 win.

RBHS wrestling competes at Hickman JV tournament

RBHS parents and students, along with those of 10 other schools, filed into the Hickman High School gym Saturday, Feb. 8. This was the last tournament of the regular season, and the District tournament will start the postseason.
