The True/False Film Festival kicked off with the Jubilee held at The Missouri Theatre Feb. 28, 2019. The event preceded the screening of ‘Knock Down the House,’ a documentary following determined politicians around the country. The event was a masquerade gala open to Super/Silver Circle and Lux passholders and went from 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. Both bleu Events and the Columbia Area Career Center (CACC)catered the party, with drinks provided by Pinckney Bend and Logboat Brewing Company.

Jeremy and Kristen Landrey of Logboat Brewing Co. are thankful for the inclusion of their beer at the Jubilee. “It’s giving a stage for a local company, a local brewery to showcase their art, to showcase their beer,” Landry said. “I think it’s a big circle of local supporting local.” Other local businesses including bleu and the CACC were catering.
