Bryan Adams comes to Columbia at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Jesse Auditorium.
Tickets range from thirty dollars to sixty dollars and are on sale now and Jesse auditorium is fairly small, so no matter where you sit, you’re guaranteed to get a good seat.
The 52-year-old rock star will not be touring for much longer, stating that after the 2013 tour he will be done, so this may be your only chance to see him. This is also the only acoustic tour Bryan Adams will be doing, so this is a one time chance to see a legendary musician playing the music he made famous.
Adams‘  songs like “Summer of ’69,” “Cuts Like a Knife” and “Everything I Do,” all of which reached the top ten on the charts at the same time. Adams’ album Reckless, originally released in 1984, went five times platinum. Adams’ has been very successful selling over sixty five million albums worldwide. As the date of the concert approaches, excitement within Rock Bridge High School starts to build.
“This is a great opportunity for every student to see one of the last, few remaining rock stars,” senior Daniel James. “This guy has stayed true to the music for the past twenty years. It would definitely be a shame for anyone to miss this concert.”
