The Right to Die

A bill in the state of California gives the terminally ill the right to end their life

There has been a recent topic about whether or not a person should be allowed to have help from a doctor, using drugs, to end their lives when they are terminally ill. There is much diversity on different opinions behind the topic, as to whether a person should be allowed to choose when they want to die. Many people suffering from severe diseases who want to go through the process of euthanasia, often times go to outside states, when euthanasia is legal.

The process of euthanasia puts a person in an irreversible coma and causes a painless death for those with incurable diseases.

Some believe the individual should have the right to a choice on ending his or her life; others have a different opinion, sometimes because of religious reasons, and believe that one should die when they are meant to.

The diversity, and opinions of people everywhere are endless. Here are just a few thoughts from students.
