Despite best intentions, those trying to fulfill their New Year’s Resolution often encounter obstacles between themselves and their goal, ranging from a lack of motivation to a lack of time. The participants in the New Year’s Resolution Race, in order to combat their personal hindrances, reflect on what could help them fight.
Bearing News asked: What do you wish you had that would help you with your resolution?
Siena Juhlin, freshman – 50 points
Resolution: Get more sleep
Audrey Milyo, sophomore – 43 points
Resolution: Procrastinate less
Britton Stamps, sophomore – 50 points
Resolution: Spend more time with family
Divya Divya, junior – 55 points
Resolution: Exercise at least 2 times a week for 30 minutes
Shray Kumar, senior – 56 points
Resolution: Exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes
Sydney Magee, senior – 56 points
Resolution: Be more positive and vocalize compliments
